What is Visual Ovation?
The name "Visual Ovation" represents the experience of seeing something and being filled with surprise or delight or interest or curiosity. It can be triggered by any number of things: The beautiful, the unusual, the curious, the surprising, the humorous, the compelling. Do you remember when you were little and so delighted by something that you just wanted to clap your hands? Well, that is the idea behind visual ovation. Sometimes such moments can be captured in a photograph, sometimes in words, and sometimes they remain private. Such moments may occur in special or exotic circumstances, but often they do not.
The folowing Portfolio contains images that have touched us, images that celebrate life, images discovered on adventures world-wide and in our backyard. The collections share views of the unique and the ordinary, the iconic and the unfamiliar, the sacred and the secular.
Our ultimage goal is to create images that capture the artistry that surrounds us on a daily basis. We are are looking for the artistic in the everyday. This reflects our view that if we take the time to see it, the artistic, unique, the compelling - the experiences that trigger a "Visual Ovation" - surround us wherever we are.
